Local company Panprint has scored not one but two prizes at the World Label Awards for the Totara Sauvignon Blanc 2010 and Full Circle Sauvignon Blanc 2010.
The awards encompass 27 categories from across the globe; only entries that have won a national award are allowed to compete at the international level.
John Lowther, Panprint general manager, said: “We’re proud of the quality of work we produce at Panprint, and these awards are a recognition of all the hard work our staff put in.”
Panprint belongs to the Blue Star Group and supplies to the wine, food and pharmaceutical industries, including Pernod Ricard (Brancott Estate, Stoneleigh), Mudhouse Wines, Mt Riley, Marisco Vineyards and Endeavour Vineyards.
“It is a testament to the staff’s belief in the company that they have consistently produced high standard of work over the years that has won several awards,” Lowther added.
Blue Star New Zealand chief executive David Jupe called it a historic occasion for Panprint.
Panprint has won more awards than any other printing company at the Pride in Print Industry awards with 62 gold medals and 132 highly commended, was a three-time supreme award finalist and once a supreme award winner.
