By now you designers must well and truly be starting to sweat in anticipation of tomorrow night’s Best Awards. One of the biggest events on the designer social calendar, the awards honour design in every shape and form, from graphic to interactive, spatial to product. Over 800 entries were received this year, so the competition will inevitably be tough, but all the more satisfying for those lucky enough to take home gold and purple pins, or the highly sought after John Britten Black Pin.
For those who can’t make it and want to see who’s managed to snag a pin, we’ll have all the results online tomorrow night following the ceremony.
Even better, we’ll be at the awards with camera in hand, so keep an eye out on our website over the next few weeks for interviews with the winners.
In the meantime, for a refresher on the finalists, visit the Best Awards website here.

Give over $5 a month and you will not only be supporting New Zealand innovation, but you’ll also receive a print subscription, an Idealog t-shirt and a copy of the new book by David Downs and Dr. Michelle Dickinson, No. 8 Recharged (while stocks last).
