Apart from their longer lease on life, eco bulbs don’t offer up much by way of design. Well, not until designer Tien-Ho Hsu offered up this nifty paper eco bulb. While regular energy efficient light bulbs to take up space in landfills, Hsu’s innovation, dubbed the ‘Eco Light’, is made from paper meaning the bulb can be recycled once it’s done its dash. The bulb was a winner at this year's Liteon Awards, which invited designers from around the world to improve technological products by giving them an eco edge.
