A light that’s made from the packaging it’s transported in? Now there’s a smart and novel idea. Designer David Gardener’s ‘Packaging: Lamp’ fulfils that exact function, made entirely out of the paper pulp packaging material that is used to transport the electronic components.
Gardener’s concept is a finalist in the Bright Ideas Lighting Design Competition and also earned him a runner up sport in the Make Some Green competition.
