Designing for the virtual world

Academy Award winning costume designer Ngila Dickson is just one of the presenters getting set to make an appearance at CoLab’s upcoming Envisage Presentation Series which, in conjunction with Film Auckland, will focus on new developments and opportunities in designing for virtual worlds. The speakers 

Ngila Dickson 

Dickson won an Academy Award in 2004 for her work on Peter Jackson’s “The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.” She earned dual nominations that year, for her costume designs for “The Last Samurai.”

Melanie Langlotz 

Langlotz has worked in post production around the globe as a Flame Artist /operator, a Business Mentor and a Producer/Fashion-Beauty Editor. Melanie leads an experienced team creating unique animations, visual effects and sound design.
