After being cancelled in 2010 following the September 4th earthquake, the SCAPE Biennial of Art in Public Space for 2011, due to run from March 4th to April 17 in Christchurch, has been postponed once again.
The 2011 event was aiming to highlight the role these artists’ projects can contribute to discussions about urban regeneration as a result of the earthquake.
The SCAPE team and trustees will meet to discuss the future of SCAPE once the city has settled and begun the difficult healing process.
"Our thoughts are with our friends and neighbours who have suffered loss at the hands of this tragedy," says the SCAPE site.
