Graphic design legend David Carson is still heading our way, just not as soon as originally planned. Carson was due to lead seminars in Auckland and Wellington starting tomorrow, but has had to postpone his visit due to unforseen circumstances.
The good news for all you inspiration-hungry designers is that you’ve now got even more time to grab your tickets to the event. New details below. Oh, and we’ll be interviewing the man himself so be sure to watch this space.
David Carson seminar: graphic design after print
When: Auckland, March 29
Wellington, March 31
People are reading less and less. Formats are changing. How do you use design to get their attention?
Over the course of the seminars, Carson will discuss communication, interpretation of the client's message and their audience, and how to use design and typopgraphy to communicate the message before the viewer even gets to the words.
He’ll also be showcasing his latest work, and will show you how to adapt your style to the challenges of the new decade.
The seminar will give you the freedom to be yourself—to produce work that reflects your personality and which will make you stand out in the crowd.
