What do you do with thousands of pieces of pasta, toy soldiers and plastic forks? Making carpet probably wouldn't be the most obvious answer, but it makes perfect sense for Dutch designers ‘We Make Carpets’.
We make Carpets is made up of designers Stijn van der Vleuten, Marcia Nolte and visual artist Bob Waardenburg. With no sketch or plan in hand, the group lay the objects one by one to create the finished product, like this pasta carpet below for example.
