Here’s a couple of newfangled product designs for your discerning pleasure. While these Dandelion Stools may look like anything but something you should be sitting on, the stools are in fact ergonomically designed. Unsurprisingly, they take their inspiration from nature, containing coloured flower heads that sit on stalks of moulded plywood. The stools are the creation of London-based company DesignK.
These Ta-rae lamps put a quirky spin on colourful thread reels. The work of Korean design studio, Design Virus, the word “Ta-rae” represents bunched up and lumped threads or strings. The lighting is comprised of “Seoul Colours” using Koreas own traditional colours to give off an eastern feel. [via]
