This is cool. The Blind Project helps women who have escaped the sex trade in Southeast Asia by selling t-shirts with designs inspired by survivor stories, and funnels profits back to the women involved.
Be a biographer initiative, open through September 15.According to a press-release, the t-shirts, with designs submitted via Be a biographer, are made by women who have been rescued from the commercial sex trade. Proceeds go to the women, "creating a virtuous sustainable cycle", according to the organisation.
A nice chance to contribute something for a good cause.
