Daniel Marshall scores top house in Asia–Pacific competition

Testimony to the success of a great building - Daniel Marshall’s design for his Church Bay house has scored a Best Architecture Award in the prestigious 2010 Asia Pacific Property Awards for a house.

As the only New Zealand architect to gain a place in the competition, Marshall traveled to Hong Kong to collect his award at a high profile gala dinner. The event is part of the International Property Awards which aims to identify the best real estate across the globe. Other winners came from Thailand, Singapore and Vietnam.

Later this year, the highest scoring winners from the Asia Pacific Awards will compete against winners from Europe, the UK, Africa, the Americas and the Arab world. Daniel Marshall says this recognition is a significant accolade that highlights the long-lasting success of the Church Bay home, which was completed back in 2004.
