Look: Leopard Leopard Leopard

Leopard-print is the new neutral, we’ve heard. And it’s just as well because at Leopard Leopard Leopard, it was literally wall-to-wall leopard print.

The spotted store popped up at Kate Spade’s Bleecker St boutique for two days only, from September 29-30. It hosted a packed schedule of leopard-y events, with a MAC make-up artist on hand to apply cat-eye effects to customers; nail artist Deborah Lippmann giving on-theme manicures; and of course, an extensive range of spotted, fluffy, kitty-eared accessories and clothing from Kate Spade.

Limited-edition temporary tattoos, pins, nail stickers and other treats were given out at the store.

A percentage of all proceeds from sales at the store were donated to less exotic cats at the ASPCA. WWD reported that the store hosted a cat adoption drive, featuring the ASPCA’s leopard-print-wrapped van. Shoppers who adopted a kitten during the event received a limited-edition Kate Spade New York cat bed with, of course, leopard-print fabric.

The Leopard Leopard Leopard pop-up concept is now travelling to other Kate Spade stores around the US.
