OK Go – possibly the world's most creative band – is offering filmmakers free access to its brand new track I’m Not Through from its upcoming fourth album. Why? Well, as part of the OK Go Saatchi & Saatchi Music Video Challenge 2013 in partnership with global creative platform Talenthouse and music

OK Go – possibly the world's most creative band – is offering filmmakers free access to its brand new track I’m Not Through  from its upcoming fourth album. Why? Well, as part of the OK Go Saatchi & Saatchi Music Video Challenge 2013 in partnership with global creative platform Talenthouse and music video curators BUG, the band is inviting creatives to make a video for the song, with the chance to go to Cannes Lions and more.

A specially chosen judging panel headed up by OK Go’s lead singer Damian Kulash – an award-winning film director as well as musician – will pick a grand winner, who  will be invited to a full week at Cannes Lions in June where his/her film will be screened. There will also be a People’s Choice Winner, based on a public vote. The highest voted filmmaker will enjoy promotion across the Talenthouse site as well as on OK Go’s own website, and will also receive a special gift from the band.

Previously, Saatchi & Saatchi collaborated with Moby and the Estate of James Brown; this is the third of its music video competitions.

Says Kulash: “Clearly, making videos is a pretty big part of our lives, but while we're in the studio finishing our new record, our heads are exclusively focussed on the songs. So, it feels right to let other people into the playroom while we're not using it. It's a good way to encourage people to go forth and make. A great idea is a great idea. You don't need us standing in front of your camera to make a great video.”

OK Go won a total of seven Lions at the 2012 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, including three gold and one silver for the music video All Is Not Lost, and two bronze Lions for the music video Needing/Getting, which debuted during last year’s Super Bowl, and to date has more than 24.5 million hits on YouTube. No pressure.
