The country's only dedicated animation conference is three days of games, animation, storytelling and visual effects, with keynotes, workshops and master classes in everything from bootstrapping a company to protecting your IP as an indie developer. Now in its sixth year, AnimfxNZ 11 is organised by the NZ GAV Trust, a group of digital media professionals dedicated to advancing the games, animation and VFX industries in New Zealand. It's hosted in partnership with the Visual Effects Society (VES) and the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences (AIAS).
