I have been shooting commercially for about 15–16 years here in Auckland. I work mainly in advertising/design for all main agencies here and abroad and as is the way here in NZ I tend to shoot a lot of varied subjects. Generally I prefer people and landscape.

As for the other side … the ‘art’ side … I am represented by John Leech gallery which is probably where this all ends up.

Philosophy: The black box with a piece of glass on the end is just the recording device of an idea, a view, a comment. It comes at the end of the process. I like to be involved at the beginning of the process. Working with the client on the concept and offering input into the idea, the view that we’re trying to capture and what we’re trying to achieve in the shoot.
