As part of its "Lounge of the Future" concept for Milan Design Week, Heineken recently debuted Ignite, a new twist on the simple beer bottle.

The Heineken Ignite bottles use LEDs and wireless sensors to light up when bottles are clinked together, to flicker when taking a swig, or can even be remotely controlled. When put down, the bottles take a time out, not unlike a screensaver or 'sleep' mode on a computer,

Just 200 prototypes were made, in response to a brief based on the idea that at the 'cheers' moment, something magical should happen.
